(CHANGZHOU, China, Oct. 25, 2018 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) Trina Solar Limited announced it has been invited to participate the 4th International Off-grid Renewable Conference (IOREC) in Singapore, from October 31st to November 1st, 2018. In parallel with the conference, Trina Solar will attend at exhibition booth J01 to introduce the most reliable and cutting-edge microgrid solution.
As a leading global total solutions provider for solar energy, Trina Solar is dedicated to the customization and application of microgrid energy systems. Collaborating with the Maldives Ministry of Environment and Energy, Trina Solar has completed the project of applying its microgrid solutions for 14 islands of the Maldives. The project is capable of producing 4 million kWh of solar power per year, covering the consumption of more than 1,500 households.
By providing a one-stop solution including industrial consultancy, customized design, component survey, procurement, system integration, construction, on-site training, commissioning, etc., Trina Solar has successfully integrated the PV modules and energy storage systems with existing diesel power systems in the Maldives. Utilizing its independent Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, Trina Solar's microgrid solution managed to integrate the PV modules, energy storage systems and diesel systems intelligently. The project has become an island microgrid pilot project and a solution pioneer utilizing hybrid power.
