이코노무는 YPO의 69번째 회원이며 현재 YPO 의장인 엘리자베스 주커(Elizabeth Zucker)의 뒤를 이어 새로운 의장이 된다. 이코노무는 2020년 7월 1일부로 의장직을 수행하게 된다.
이코노무는 YPO모나코의 회원이며 아이그룹(iGroup)의 창립자이자 매니징 디렉터다. 상대적인 가치 투자에 주력하는 아이그룹은 비즈니스 주기의 낮은 부분에 있는 산업을 찾고 투자를 진행한다. 아이그룹이 주로 투자를 실시하는 산업들은 운송, 기술, 정신, 부동산 및 바이오테크(생명공학)를 포함한다.

YPO Elects Anastasios (Tassos) Economou 2020-2021 YPO Chairman
DALLAS, Dec. 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, YPO [https://www.ypo.org/ ], the premier global leadership community for chief executives, announced the election of Anastasios (Tassos) Economou to YPO's highest elected office, the 2020-2021 chairman of the YPO Board of Directors.
Economou is the 69th member to hold this office and will succeed current YPO Chairman Elizabeth Zucker. He will begin his term on 1 July 2020.
A member of YPO Monaco, Economou is the Founder and Managing Director of iGroup. Focusing on relative value investing, iGroup looks to spot an industry that is at the low part of the business cycle and invest in it. Industries where iGroup primarily are present include shipping, tech, spirits, real estate and biotech.

The YPO chairman is elected by member peers on the board. Economou continues the legacy of YPO's founder and first president, Ray Hickok, who set the standard for peer leadership.
